Meet The Guides
At Forbes Academy, we believe the heart of a school lives in the people who guide its children.
In Montessori, we call our teachers guides, a reflection of their role in allowing each child the freedom to grow at their own pace.
Our guides are chosen with intention. Each brings a unique perspective, a passion for education, and a shared commitment to creating a space where every child feels inspired to become wonderfully themselves. 💜

Toddler Guide | Chickadee Community
Ms. Evita
Some of life's most extraordinary discoveries happen in its smallest moments, and Evita has spent over eight years honoring just that. From the tender beginnings of infancy to the boundless curiosity of toddlerhood, her work with young children is rooted in patience and a deep respect for the unfolding child.
An artist in both practice and spirit, Evita brings a unique harmony of creativity and care to Forbes Academy. As a signed and touring musician, she understands the many languages through which children discover the world. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she weaves music, rhythm, language, and artistic expression into the Montessori Toddler environment, creating opportunities for joyful exploration.
Currently pursuing her Montessori 0–3 certification, Evita brings together years of hands-on experience, a creative spirit, and a profound appreciation for the earliest years of human development. In her classroom, the smallest hands are met with great respect.

Primary Guide (Campus Director) | Cardinal Community
Ms. Ellie
For Ms. Ellie, education is both an art. With over a decade of experience spanning public, charter, private, and Montessori education, she brings a thoughtful perspective shaped by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and the freedom to discover who they are.
Holding an AMI Primary Diploma and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Ms. Ellie approaches education with intentionality and imagination. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she values the richness of language, culture, and creative expression, weaving these elements into an environment where differences are embraced.
As Campus Director and Primary Lead Guide at Forbes Academy, she is deeply committed to cultivating a whole school community where inclusion is an every day, lived experience. Her work is rooted in the understanding that children do not all bloom in the same way or at the same time, and that the beauty of education lies in honoring each child's individual journey.
For Ms. Ellie, the greatest privilege of guiding children is creating a space for them to become wholly, wonderfully themselves.

Elementary Guide | Eagle Community
Ms. Harris
For Ms. Harris, education is the foundation upon which children discover their voices and begin to understand their place in the world. With 14 years of experience in child development and education, beginning with her studies in high school, she brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to advocating for the child.
Holding a bachelor's degree in Social Justice and an AMI Primary Diploma, Ms. Harris approaches education through the lens of equity, dignity, and the fundamental belief that every child deserves to be respected. Currently pursuing her AMI Elementary Diploma, she combines a strong academic foundation with Dr. Maria Montessori's vision as a pathway toward independence, critical thinking, and meaningful participation in society.
As Elementary Lead Guide at Forbes Academy, Ms. Harris invites children to look beyond the answers and discover the beauty of asking questions. Her approach encourages thoughtful inquiry, intellectual courage, and a growing sense of responsibility to oneself, to others, and to the world around them.

Business Education Manager
Ms. Krystin
Some educators teach within the walls of a classroom. Others carry the lessons of the world into everything they do. For Krystin, nearly two decades in education have shaped a perspective that is as expansive as it is deeply rooted in the principles of Montessori.
With 19 years of teaching experience, including 14 years dedicated to Montessori education, Krystin brings a remarkable depth of knowledge and a global perspective to Forbes Academy. Holding a bachelor's degree in History and an AMI Assistants to Infancy Diploma (0–3), her educational journey has taken her as far as Japan, where her experience teaching abroad enriched her appreciation for culture and the many ways children come to understand their world.
As Business & Education Manager, Krystin brings together two essential dimensions of a thriving school: the integrity of its educational philosophy and the intention behind its daily business operations. Her extensive classroom experience informs her approach to educational leadership, helping ensure that the principles guiding a child's development are reflected in the whole school environment.
